Tour Booking Terms & Conditions
Passengers are deemed to have read, understood and accepted the following conditions. Raffles Holidays shall be known as “Raffles” in the conditions listed below.
Reservations, Deposit and Payment of Tour
A deposit of S$300 per person is required upon booking. However, a payment of deposit does not constitute the confirmation of tour. All group packages are subjected to a minimum group size in order to depart. Full payment is required not less than 10days prior to departure.
Credit Card / Charge CardPayment by the credit card or charge card may not be applicable for certain promotional tour packages. Payment by installment plan, where applicable, are valid for selected banks and subject to banks’ approval and terms & conditions. For credit card and charge card payment, any refunds of monies will be made through the respective credit card or charge card companies. The refund process will take about 4-8weeks.
Cancellation Charges
For any cancellation of tours by passengers, the following charges will apply accordingly:

Cancellations of confirmed booking must be made in writing to avoid misunderstanding.
Amendment to Bookings
For any changes in the departure date or tour type requested by passengers, cancellation charges apply as spelt out under the section on “Cancellation Charges”.
Amendment Fees
A minimum amendment fee of $50 per person per amendment will be charged for any changes requested by passengers. All request for amendments must be made in writing not less than 14days prior to departure of tour.
Refund on Tour Packages
Tour members should be aware that The Company is acting as an agent for the service suppliers. After a deposit or full payment is made, all arrangements are still subject to confirmation. When the arrangement cannot be confirmed. The Company will endeavour to notify passenger at least 2 weeks before departure and a refund of payment of the tour fare will be made if the tour is cancelled. The Company shall not be liable for any further responsibilities.
No refund or exchange can be made for any unused portion of the tour.

Tour Price includes (Group Tours Only)
  • return economy class group  fare air ticket
  • return 2 way airport transfers
  • hotel accommodation on twin-sharing basis
  • for triple room, the extra bed may be a roll-away bed
  • single room occupancy is at additional cost
  • all meals as per in the tour itinerary
  • baggage allowance of 20kg 

Tour Price excludes 
  • visa application fee
  • airport taxes
  • excess baggage charges
  • tips
  • flight insurance
  • incidental charges due to personal consumption not listed in itinerary 

Tour prices are based on current airfares, service prices and government tax, exchange rates and is applicable at the time of print or quotation and are subject to change with or without prior notice.
Accomodation
In the event the accommodation booked or requested is not available, every effort will be made for an alternative in another accommodation of similar standard
Special Requirements
Any request for special meals, adjoining rooms and so on, please inform Raffles when booking. Such requests are subject to confirmation and availability.
Travel Documents
Every passenger are responsible  to ensure that his/her passport has a validity of at least 6 months form the date of departure. Relevant visas and vaccinations may be required. Cancellation charges apply for any cancellation due to non-approval of visa or any other reasons as stated above. For Singapore permanent residents, please bring along your exit permits when traveling.
Raffles will, wherever possible assist you to obtain the necessary visas. Service charges and visa fees will be borne by passenger. Raffles does not guarantee the approval of the visa application. If for any reason, application for visa or exit permit is rejected, passengers must made known to Raffles at least 30 days prior to departure with administration charges. If less than 30days notice is given, the relevant cancellation charge as stated will apply.
Raffles cannot be held responsible for any expenses reimbursement or refund of any tour prices if passenger is refused entry by any country on the tour for whatever reasons including lack of necessary visas.
Travel Insurance
Purchase of travel insurance is strongly recommended with respect to such areas as trip cancellation, personal baggage, personal accident, injury & illness. Under no circumstances is Raffles to be construed as a carrier as a carrier under contract for sale of carriage of passenger or his/her baggage & belonging. Our staff will be pleased to assist in the enquiries of any travel insurance.
Responsibility
Raffles reserves the right to alter itineraries, travel arrangements, hotels and reservations etc. Raffles reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to date of departure for any reasons including insufficient number of participants. Should this happen, the entire payment shall be refunded  without futher obligations on the part of Raffles. Raffles will recommend alternative tour, preferably to the same destination or other destinations. Should passenger decide not to accept the alternatives, all monies paid shall be refunded in full by Raffles without further obligations
Complaints / Claims
Any complaints / claims must be made in writing within 2 weeks after services have been rendered. No responsibility is accepted in respect of any complaint/claim which is not so made.
